Danæg Products exports eggs to the food industry, bakeries and retail chains all over the world. Our range includes shell eggs and processed egg products – both liquid and convenience products. Each day, we break more than 1,000,000 eggs at our processing plant for use in our wide range of products.
Denmark is known for its high level of food safety, and Danæg Products aims at maintaining high standards of hygiene and quality from the farmer to the packaging plant, production and distribution. We were the first to introduce stamping of the eggs to provide traceability back to the farmer. Our cold stores at farms and in temperature-controlled vehicles will ensure that Danæg Products never breaks the unique Danish cooling chain.
We make sure that our strict cooling requirements are met all the way from the farmer’s storage to the processing of the eggs at our packing station and production. This provides a unique quality and product safety.
Danæg Products is certified according to the food safety standard of “Food Safety Management System 22000”. Furthermore, we are approved by the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration (Fødevarestyrelsen) for production of organic products.
